Spent more than 2 hours yesterday afternoon with 12 people (including 2 children) in Cafe Waldrand. Corona-related self-service and a shortened menu are completely okay. The staff is friendly and hard-working. No dish of the day (stew) and no fries, although listed on the Corona menu, can still be accepted, but the kids also like the burgers in the CARDBOARD. The cake on PAPER PLATES also tastes delicious. However, I support the toast Hawaii, which is on a BOCKWURSTPAPPE, and the wheat beer, which comes with a small PLASTIC MUG on top. In addition, each PLASTIC DISPOSABLE CUTLERY .... We produced such masses of garbage in the 2 hours that we brooded more and more: The forest edge Hohenroth is actually supposed to present nature and also serves as an environmental training center. Another highlight are the organic coffee specialties advertised in the café ... in the PAPPBECHER! According to the website, you are "spoiled" with culinary delights. I did without the cappuccino in the PAPER CUP with the cake. How does this all come together? Lots of garbage is created here. What speaks against porcelain plates and cups, glasses and normal cutlery? When we left the café, we saw how all the rubbish - no matter if plastic or cardboard - ends up in blue residual rubbish bags. Too bad. Missed chance, therefore only 2 points.

Very nice beer garden. Good solution for the corona pads found. I only ate kichen, but it was very tasty, strawberry slices highly recommended. I will gladly come again.

Very nice visit. The waffles and cocoa are delicious. For children worth a walk. The wild animal is already enclosure.
